Research Collab provides book publishing services for authors, editors, researchers, and academic institutions across a wide range of disciplines. Our services may include manuscript assessment, editorial coordination, book cover design, formatting, typesetting, ISBN-related services, DOI registration, and online publication, according to the selected package and publishing agreement.

Publishing charges depend on the author's location, manuscript length, and selected package. All submissions remain subject to editorial assessment, originality checks, publication ethics requirements, and final approval.

The standard publishing package for Indian authors covers manuscripts of up to 200 pages. Each additional page costs ₹10. Authors who prefer a fixed-price option may select the ₹6,200 unlimited-page package.

Individual Chapter DOI Service

Research Collab offers an optional DOI registration service for individual chapters in edited books, subject to eligibility and the applicable registration requirements.

  • International authors: USD 20 per chapter.
  • Indian authors: ₹250 per chapter.

A chapter DOI provides a persistent identifier that can help readers locate, cite, and reference an individual chapter. DOI registration does not guarantee indexing in Google Scholar or any other database. Indexing and discoverability depend on the relevant platform's policies and coverage.

Depending on the selected package and publishing agreement, services may include:

  • Initial manuscript assessment and publication coordination.
  • Editorial workflow and production management.
  • Book cover design.
  • Manuscript formatting and typesetting.
  • ISBN-related services, where applicable and included.
  • Book-level DOI registration, where included in the agreed package.
  • Optional individual chapter DOI registration.

The exact services included in each package will be communicated before payment. Print copies, shipping, optional chapter DOIs, and other additional services may incur separate charges unless expressly included in the agreed package.

Terms and Conditions

  • No submission fee: No fee is charged merely for submitting a manuscript for consideration.
  • Editorial approval: Payment does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
  • Page-based charges: Additional-page fees apply to pages exceeding the 200-page allowance under the standard package.
  • Unlimited-page package: The package removes the stated page-based surcharge; separately agreed optional services may still incur additional fees.
  • Individual chapter DOIs: Chapter DOI registration is optional and charged separately at the applicable rate unless included in a written agreement.
  • Rejected manuscripts: No publication processing fee is payable for a manuscript rejected before publication processing begins, subject to any separately agreed services already delivered.
  • Publication timelines: Processing times depend on manuscript readiness, editorial assessment, revisions, and completion of required documentation.
  • Transparency: Applicable charges and additional service fees will be communicated before publication proceeds.
